Three students from ECLS will be publically recognized at the Eau Claire County Court House on Monday March 23. Two fifth grade students A.B. and M.J. and one sixth grade student A.D. were awarded First Place for the Eau Claire County Housing Authority "Fair Housing" Poster and Essay Contest this spring.
The students learned about fair housing when Eau Claire County Housing Authority representative Sue Frye did a classroom presentation to the students. Each student in Miss Koopman's class submitted an essay in for the contest.
